Ramp Ministry

Latest two ramps have been built at the Cooks and Raisors! See pictures posted at right.

Centenary’s ramp ministry designs and builds ramps or long-tread, low-riser steps for people with mobility impairments. We work with the local Multi-Purpose Community Action Agency to build custom-designed systems that assist people in need so they can have safe and reliable access to their homes.

Eligible applicants are doctor-verified mobility impaired, who have no means to provide safe access to their home and live in the Shelby County area. A referral application form is available from the Multi-Purpose office, 1145 Washington Street, Shelbyville. The agency will assist applicants with the form and forward it to Centenary for final consideration.

If you wish to support this ministry, please send donations to Ramp Ministry, Centenary United Methodist Church, PO Box 38, Shelbyville, KY 40066. If you'd like to donate your time and talents, please call the church office.
