Community Outreach

We already actively support a variety of hands-on ministries including:

  • Arriba Ninos, which provides tutoring to students whose native language is not English
  • Red Bird Mission, which serves low-income residents of Kentucky's Appalacian mountains
  • God's Kitchen, which provides a hot lunch Monday - Friday in downtown Shelbyville
  • Mercy Medical Clinic
  • Kentucky United Methodist Homes, a facility for teenagers that have faced traumatic issues
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • In addition, Centenary is also an emergency site backup for the Red Cross during natural disasters and inclement weather.
